KENNEDY CENTER AMERICAN COLLEGE THEATRE FESTIVAL
FESTIVAL XLII
JANUARY 26-31, 2010

UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
DURHAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE

Welcome to KCACTF Region 1 Festival XLII and to our host Institution the University of New Hampshire!

All workshops, programming and productions will take place on the UNH campus. The administrative center for the festival will be in the New England Center (www.newenglandcenter.com).

The New England Center (NEC) will be the site of the registration desk, the location for many workshops and exhibits, and hotel accommodations.

Although the NEC does offer accommodations, it is not sufficiently large enough to handle all housing needs for the festival. In addition to the rooms in the NEC, a block of rooms has been reserved at the new Holiday Inn Express in Durham (see below). The hotel is within walking distance of the center of the campus.

Arrangements have also been made with the Lafrance Bowden Hospitality group based in the adjacent town of Dover, NH (see below). Their Dover hotels include: the Homewood Suites ~ Hilton, Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn & Suites. These hotels are located within a mile of each other and within a 10 minute ride of the UNH campus. Shuttle bus service will be provided to and from the Dover hotel group.

The New England Center, the Holiday Inn Express, and the Dover Hotels all offer a festival rate. The fee structure and accommodations vary somewhat from facility to facility. There are some suites, for example, in the Dover group that can house up to 6. A hot breakfast is also included with the room price at the Holiday Inn and the Dover Hotels.

Reservations are to be made directly with the hotel.
